Olympic Weightlifting

Olympic Weightlifting focuses on two primary lifts. The Snatch & the Clean & Jerk. The snatch moves the barbell from the floor to overhead in one movement (often caught in a squat and stood up to finish the lift). The C&J pulls the bar from the floor to the shoulders and then pushes overhead to complete the lift.

You will learn the component parts of each of these lifts as well as practicing the associated skills and barbell cycling.
